Throughline Films arranged a worldwide distribution deal for the sci-fi/action feature Crossbreed with distributor Uncork’d Entertainment. Uncork'd was founded in 2012 by Keith Leopard, a home entertainment industry veteran with more than 23 years of experience. Executive Producers John W. Bosher and Chris Charles negotiated the deal, which is the first they've done with Uncork'd. Set in the near future, Crossbreed follows a team of mercenaries who are hired to retrieve an alien bio-weapon from a top secret research facility orbiting the Earth. The film stars Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day) and Daniel Baldwin (Paparazzi) and is the first to feature an African American woman portraying the President of the United States, something that has garnered national media attention. Look for the film to come out in early 2019.
