“Throughline is the lifeblood of our film.” – Erin Elders, Writer/Director
Since its inception in 2012, Throughline Films has helped dozens of filmmakers realize their film’s potential by successfully bridging the gap between art and business. Its network of talent agents, financiers, vendors, festival programmers, distributors, sales agents, attorneys, publicists, and press offers a one-stop shop for connecting feature film and television content to the world.
Throughline is a boutique producer representation firm that secures worldwide distribution for a limited number of titles each year, allowing the partners to provide clients with the focus and bespoke approach they deserve.
Throughline also offers consultation services with extensive experience in casting, film incentives, production, product placement, completion funding, post-production, sales and distribution, delivery, collection accounts and residuals, IMDb optimization, film festivals, sponsorships, and marketing and promotions.
Having written, produced, and directed their own films for the past 17 years, Throughline partners John W. Bosher and Chris Charles approach each project from the filmmaker’s perspective and pride themselves on their Midwestern work ethic and integrity. After graduating with honors from Columbia College Chicago, they produced the mafia thriller Chicago Overcoat, which sold to Showtime, 20th Century Fox, and Netflix. John and Chris also produced We Are Columbine, a documentary that sold to Hulu about four survivors of the infamous school shooting who return to the campus twenty years later. Most recently, they produced the crime drama The Cleaner, starring Shelley Long, Eden Brolin, James Paxton, Shiloh Fernandez, Luke Wilson, and Lynda Carter, set to premiere in 2021.
