Since its inception in 2012, Throughline Films co-founders John W. Bosher and Chris Charles have helped dozens of filmmakers realize their film’s potential by successfully bridging the gap between art and business. Having written, produced, and directed their own films for the past 17 years, they approach each project from the filmmaker’s perspective and pride themselves on their Midwestern work ethic and integrity. After graduating with honors from Columbia College Chicago, John and Chris produced the mafia thriller Chicago Overcoat, which sold to Showtime, 20th Century Fox, and Netflix. More recently, they produced We Are Columbine, a documentary about how survivors of the infamous school shooting are coping with the tragedy twenty years later, and the star-studded Heirlooms, featuring Shelley Long, Luke Wilson, Lynda Carter, Shiloh Fernandez, Noel G., Mike Starr, M.C. Gainey, Soleil Moon Frye, Milena Govich, and up-and-comers Eden Anne Brolin, Hopper Penn, and James Paxton.
